Hubby got me a "golden heart"

I came home late last night. Actually, I was already off from work early but I decided to do my groceries right after work because I was thinking that Hubby and I are going out on a Valentine's date today.

I came home late last night and the first thing I saw on top of our bureau was the bouquet of red roses that Hubby got me. I was so happy. I love flowers especially if they come from my Hubby... who is not a traditional flower-giving male. He is not the romantic type on that aspect but since he knows that I like them... he was forced to buy me flowers every rare chance he got.

I woke up late today. And since Brandon is staying home because he is sick, whatever Hubby and I planned for today's special day is postponed. We stayed home to watch him.

I woke up late today but Hubby woke me up with that familiar cute little bag from his favorite jewelry store... so I already knew what's in it for me. I hurriedly opened the beautifully wrapped box with tiny ribbon and found a heart necklace.

The man with a heart of gold gave me a "golden heart" this Valentine's Day... quite literally. Love it... and love him!
