A boring Halloween
Halloween is not that exciting to me. My first Halloween was not too memorable. Coming from a country where we don’t “officially” celebrate Halloween, I was really excited to experience it. But Hubby was too tired from work to drive me around to let me see kids in costumes. And my home is located in the deepest woods where even Red Riding Hood doesn’t pass by. Hahahaha. So there are no kids who could come to knock at our door to go trick or treating.
This year is no ordinary. As usual Hubby came home late from work again and too tired. But we did drive in town to get some Chinese take-outs but I didn’t see kids in costumes either. So as usual, Brandon is the only kid I see wearing costume. And that is not so exciting anymore too because I see him in different costumes all the time even if it is not Halloween. He plays in the yard in costumes all the time. There will be times that he is Power Ranger. There will be times that he is Batman. There will be times that he is a Kung Fu Master.
This year, Brandon went trick or treating with his mom. His mother picked him up and went with Dylan [who was already wearing a Batman costume] and Shelby so it was more exciting for him this time because he had somebody else who went trick or treating. He said he had fun. And oh by the way, I also saw the assistant of Brandon’s school bus driver wearing costume. And that’s all about.

hahaha! i love the photo of uncle sam/bus driver!
i painted my kids' faces during the halloween. unfortunately, they didn't like the scary characters. my older one opted for a soldier face paint, and the younger one prefered the tiger. no connection with halloween at all. so i painted my own face with the Grim Reaper. hehe. more like it talaga!

It is more fun to have someone to go with trick-or-treating. Not too many kids came by our house either, I only handed out two small bags of candy.
