Between Timmy and Brandon’s Fit

I didn’t have a good start today. Brandon had his moment and threw a fit over Timmy Turner and his Fairly Oddparents so that was not a good way to start my day. He has this way of freaking me out minutes before the school bus comes so as expected, the more he made the situation worse by being argumentative and fussy. And the more I reminded him to get dressed quick because he would be late… the more he gave me a hard time. It always happens. So we both didn’t have a good day today and he got in the bus with a long face.

At quarter passed ten, the school Nurse called and told me that Brandon was sick and I had to pick him up. So I did. His face was all red and his eyes looked drowsy when I found him in the school clinic. I signed him off in the reception desk and said goodbye to the nurse. As we walked to the car… Brandon said… “I’m sorry for giving you a hard time this morning. I know I was mean to you. So I’m really sorry!” We went home as friends again and next thing I know... he was puking all over my car.

Brandon, unlike other kids with autism is a smart cookie. He knows how to manipulate people with his charm and it always works. He can express his emotion in varied ways like any normal kid. And he can play with other people’s emotions with entirely different ways as well. He knows when he hurts someone and he realizes it if he did a good thing or bad. And he is quick to apologize too and say sorry. When he is in his best mood, he would always say "I love you" every chance he gets or say "I hate you" when he cannot get what he wants. But it will only take few minutes and a little bribe every now and then to get him into your side.
